Jason King is a famous American former employee and cast member of the ‘Deadliest Catch,’ a reality television series. He had appeared in the reality show as a deckhand on the fishing vessel Cornelia Marie.

Jason King, from West Tennessee, was sentenced to 51 months in prison on 16th July 2019. He was guilty of possessing a firearm. U.S. Attorney D. Michael Dunavant for the Western District of Tennessee announced the sentence.
Jason also received sentence enhancement for possessing over 14 pounds of marijuana.
As per the court reports, on 20th April 2019, officers along with Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the 15th Judicial District Drug Task Force, the 24th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Explosives (ATF) executed a search warrant and arrest warrant at his residence.
During the search warrant, they found multiple bags of marijuana that totaled over 14 pounds hidden. Also, they found a fully loaded Smith & Wesson 38 caliber revolver in his kitchen drawer. As Jason also had a prior criminal history, he was sent to jail for a maximum time with guidelines range from offenses.
On 16th July 2019, the United States District Court Chief Judge Thomas Anderson sentenced him to 51 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
As of now, Jason is behind bars. Well, he is not the only Deadliest Catch to be in prison. Phil Harris’s son Jake Harris is in jail for DUI and possession of heroin with the aim of manufacture and distribution.
